Dandy's World Ichor

Ichor is the primary currency in Dandy's World. It is used to purchase various items such as Toons, Trinkets, and Toon Skins.

In the latest update, Toon Skins not tied to Mastery Challenges can now be acquired through a ticket system, priced at 600 ichor.

Earning Ichor

  • Completing Floors (Higher Floor = More Ichor)
  • Filling Machines (5 Ichor)
  • If multiple players contribute to a Machine, each player earns 1 Ichor for every 20% of the work they contribute (rounding up).
  • Collecting Research Capsules (2 Ichor per capsule)
  • Using a Toon's Active Ability (5 Ichor per Floor, once per Floor)
  • Purchasing with Robux (Varying amounts)
  • In the post-game summary, each Twisted you encounter grants 1 Ichor
  • Codes (e.g. the current active code "ichor" grants 150 Ichor)

Ichor Uses

  • Ichor is used to purchase Toons, Trinkets, and Toon Skins.
  • Toons are bought with Ichor and sometimes additional requirements like Research, Machines completed, Floors survived, etc.
  • Trinkets can be purchased with Ichor or earned by achieving 100% Research on Twisteds. Some Trinkets also require additional conditions, like Floors survived or Meters walked.
  • Toon Skins are purchased with Ichor through a ticket system.

🙆 Trivia 🙆

  • In Dandy's World lore, Ichor is the mysterious substance that causes Toons to transform into Twisteds, though the exact process of this transformation remains unknown.
  • Getting covered in Ichor does not necessarily result in transformation, as evidenced by Twisted Finn, who can cover a Toon in Ichor without causing the transformation.
  • The character of Twisted Dandy, who oversees the Ichor operation, suggests he may be the game's overarching antagonist. However, it remains uncertain whether he intentionally created Twisteds.
  • Ichor takes inspiration from Greek mythology, where it is the blood of the gods and is considered deadly to humans. This reflects its toxic nature in Dandy's World.
  • Some Twisted Toons leak Ichor from their wounds, implying that Ichor is a crucial part of their internal systems and is integral to their twisted transformations.
  • It is still unclear whether regular Toons also have Ichor in their systems, though they burst into an Ichor-like substance upon death.
  • Ichor is extracted via the "Ichor Extraction Machine," hinting at an underground biological source yet to be revealed within the game world.
  • Given Ichor's transformative effect on Toons, it’s intriguing that Dandy might retain free will, similar to the role Ichor plays in Greek mythology, where gods are affected differently by their own blood.
  • When Toons run out of Hearts, they seem to explode into Ichor, though this could be another mysterious substance. Twisted Finn consistently leaves an Ichor trail.
  • Poppy, Boxten, Shrimpo, Razzle & Dazzle, and Tisha are currently the only Toons in the game available for purchase with Ichor alone, with no additional requirements.
  • According to a 12/5/2024 stream, Qwel described Ichor in its liquid state as slimy and unpleasant, while in its solid state, it feels jello-like.
