Dandy’s World Items

Items are essential objects in Dandy's World. Players can discover or purchase them on different floors or at Dandy's Shop located in the elevator.

These items are categorized into extraction, escape, distraction, healing, and other types.

Their strategic use can temporarily enhance attributes, trigger special effects, or restore health and stamina.

As players progress to higher floors, item rarity increases, and combining their effects can lead to significant advantages.

It is advisable to use rarer items strategically at the most opportune moments for maximum benefit.

Guaranteed Items

Ichor Capsule

Ichor Capsule

The Ichor Capsule is a grade-less item appearing unconditionally on every floor. When collected, it grants 2 Ichor and 1% of the random Twisted Research value on that floor.

Effect: Obtain Twisted research points and in-game currency.
Note: Be cautious of fake capsules without film, as interacting with them may trigger a Twisted attack.

"Ichor Capsules are key to understanding the behavior of Twisteds while providing vital resources for your survival. Handle with care!"

Tapes

Tapes
Tapes are in-round goods that can only be collected and used during the same round. They are required for purchasing items from Dandy's shop in the elevator.

Uses:
  • Buy items from Dandy's shop.
  • Recover health for Tigan (100 tapes).
  • Heal allies with Sprout (100-450 tapes).
Trivia: If no items are purchased, Dandy may remark, "This tape is not yours." This suggests a deeper reason for the risk players take in collecting tapes.

"Tapes are a critical currency for survival in the mascot horror world. Their purpose remains a mystery, but their value is undeniable."

Research Capsule

Research Capsule

The Research Capsule is a guaranteed item that grants 1% Research (or 2% if used by Rodger) on the Twisteds it belongs to. Two capsules spawn per Twisted on the floor, alongside 2 Ichor earned upon collection.

Availability: Can't be bought.

"A crucial resource for understanding Twisteds, the Research Capsule aids in unlocking their secrets while providing valuable in-game rewards."

💡 Items Use Tips 💡

Trivia:

  • The game does not feature a "give" mechanic. To transfer items to teammates, players must call them and let them pick up the item as a replacement.
  • Although some of these items are Dandy Shop Exclusive, Gigi can pull any of these items when using her ability.
  • However, for Twisted Finn's trinket, you cannot get any items that are Dandy's Shop Exclusive.
  • Activating the Wrench trinket with 2 Jumper Cables can serve as a replacement for the Valve, although it comes with a 2-second delay.
  • Using 3 Enigma Candies simultaneously with a Thinking Cap as Shelly or Gigi will make the largest Skill Check window, but you have to get lucky enough to get a skill check on all 3 candies.
  • For a consistent method, use 3 Stopwatches simultaneously with a Thinking Cap as Shelly or Gigi.
  • The Valve does not fully complete a machine once used, although filling it up about 99%.
  • 3 Jumper Cables help fully complete a machine.
  • The Bandage is the only item that changes its appearance when picked or bought, going from a blue box that reads Dand-AID to a single bandaid. If you look closely, it says DandAID, not BandAId.
  • Before v2.0, Health Kits used to cost 150 tapes. With a Dandy Doll, the price reduces to 43 tapes.
  • Qwel said that the amount of items that can spawn on a floor is based on how many players there are, though the formula is unknown.
  • Stealth items could be dangerous for Shrimpo, as it can decrease his stealth even more.
  • The Smoke Bomb works the same as Connie's ability, but her ability lasts longer and cannot affect Lethal Twisteds. Connie's lasts 5 seconds, Smoke Bomb lasts 3 seconds.

Tips and Tricks:

  • Prioritize giving Band-Aids and Medkits to either Sprout or Cosmo, as they can heal everyone but themselves.
  • Let Sprout take Tapes, because it takes 100 tapes to produce one heal (if only one is in the lobby).
  • Heals can be produced by Gigi, so if you don't have any healers, Gigi should be the last heal-giving priority unless she is the only Toon on one heart.
  • For any of the main characters, they should take Band-Aids, and for any other toon, they should take Medkits (unless someone really needs it).
  • Stamina and Speed Items should be given to toons such as Shelly, Brightney, or Vee, so they can escape chases with Twisteds.
  • Smoke Bombs should be given to toons with lower stealth, such as Brightney, Vee, Glisten, or even slower toons like Shrimpo and Connie.
  • Air Horns should be given to distractors, such as Pebble, Flutter, Goob, Tisha, Razzle and Dazzle, Looey, and Sprout.
  • Jumper Cables and Valves have the most value on hard or scary floors, such as Multiple Main Twisteds, Blackout with a Main Twisted, Blackout with lots of Twisteds, or even Blackout on Astro's Room.
  • Don't waste items such as Bottle o' Pop, Eject Button, Smoke Bomb, and Box of Chocolates. Only use them when in sticky situations, like getting cornered by Twisteds or Panic Time.
  • If there are distractors on your team like Goob or Pebble, and there are no healers, it is recommended to give heals to them as they are the ones being chased by Twisteds the most.
  • If a distractor runs near you and you can't leave the area quickly (especially a distractor with 3+ stealth like Flutter), use a stealth candy to avoid the Twisteds seeing you.
