Cosmo is a brown roll cake with white icing and colorful sprinkles, wearing a white hoodie and striped socks. Cosmo is helpful and cautious, with a healing ability "Cosmoability Sharing is Caring" that transfers his Hearts to allies. Though he has low Skill Check, his stealth is above average, making him great for helping distractors. He can be bought in Dandy's Store.
Cosmo is great in the kitchen! He loves baking sweet treats for all his friends! He is often seen with his best friend Sprout! Cosmo inspires children to have generosity.
Cosmo is a skilled supporter whose active ability, Cosmoability Sharing is Caring, allows him to transfer one of his Hearts to another Toon in need. As one of only four Healers currently available, Cosmo’s ability is invaluable in situations where teammates are low on health or in danger. However, you must exercise caution—giving away too many hearts can leave Cosmo vulnerable, potentially putting both him and his teammates at risk.
Cosmo boasts a solid set of stats, but his main drawback is his Skill Check stat, which is only one star. This makes it difficult for Cosmo to succeed in Skill Checks, and his small size further exacerbates the challenge. This can also make extraction moments tricky, as Cosmo has the second-lowest extraction stats in the game, just ahead of Shrimpo. To address this, Cosmo can benefit from using Trinkets like Thinking Cap, which help mitigate his weak extraction stats. Additionally, using Vee's Remote or Wrench can enhance the extraction process for Cosmo’s team, improving overall efficiency.
If Thinking Cap isn’t an option, combining Pink Bow with Vee's Remote or Wrench is a good strategy for Cosmo. This setup allows him to leverage his above-average Stamina while also contributing to faster Machine progress. However, while Magnifying Glass and Participation Award are useful for speeding up Cosmo’s extraction, they aren’t ideal because they can worsen his already poor Skill Check stat, making them less effective when paired with his one-star Skill Check.
Cosmo’s above-average Stealth is another strong asset, making him particularly effective at healing distractors. Since distracted Twisteds won’t change targets unless they round corners, Cosmo can safely heal teammates without drawing attention. He’s an excellent choice for games featuring a lot of Main Character Toons, as his ability to stretch Health Kits allows him to support them more efficiently. Cosmo is also a great partner for Sprout, helping to keep Sprout alive longer and sharing hearts that can be replenished later, thanks to Cosmo’s quicker cooldown.
When selecting items for Cosmo, focus on Health Kits and Bandages to maximize the use of his ability. Since Cosmo can redistribute hearts freely, it’s helpful for teammates to inform him if they spot any hearts, allowing Cosmo to bring them to distractors or save them for future floors. The key is not to hoard hearts—Cosmo should always have access to the heart supply to ensure that those in need of healing receive it promptly. With his higher Stealth and Stamina, Cosmo is less at risk, making him an ideal candidate to manage health items and support his team.
Cosmo resembles a brown pastry, looking like a roll cake. His head is adorned with white icing, drizzled in a squiggly pattern, while his face is dotted with cyan, pink, and lime-colored star-shaped sprinkles that serve as freckles. He wears a white, sleeveless hoodie with black drawstrings and white hemming at the bottom. His legs are covered by striped socks matching the colors of his sprinkle freckles, giving him a playful and sweet appearance.
In his official poster artwork, Cosmo can be seen holding a baking tray filled with cookies that are frosted in pink, green, white, and teal, showcasing his love for baking and treating others.
Cosmo is a kind-hearted but somewhat cautious Toon. His hesitance and anxiety show through in his dialogue, especially when finishing machines or descending to lower floors. Despite his nervousness, Cosmo is always ready to encourage and support his fellow Toons.
While he may not always get certain jokes and is a bit gullible when teased—like in his interactions with Finn and Gigi—Cosmo always strives to help his friends. He is there to offer a hand, a kind word, or even a tasty treat whenever they need it, embodying the spirit of friendship and positivity.
Extraction
► Cosmo has a very small Skill Check size, which can be improved with the Thinking Cap, increasing the Skill Check size by 40 units.
► If you're aiming for an Extraction-focused trinket loadout, combining the Participation Award and Magnifying Glass will speed up machine completion. However, be sure to select this combo only if you're comfortable hitting Cosmo's very small skill checks.
► To manage Cosmo's small Skill Check while boosting extraction speed, equip the Blue Bandana alongside another trinket. This will help reduce the frequency of skill checks and enhance the overall extraction process for Cosmo.
Other
► Given that Cosmo tends to lose hearts more frequently, the Savory Charm can be useful. However, since it only activates once per run, you may want to consider using a Trinket with permanent boosts like Cardboard 'Armor' for better overall consistency during the game.
